BluDog Consulting is proud to be an active participant in a collaborative effort with to educate farmers on marketing and sales. The principle partners are California Certifed Organic Farmers (CCOF) Ecological Farming Association (EFA) Farm-Link, National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) and The Agriculture and Land Based training Association (ALBA). The group calls it self the "Farmer Education Network" it's goals are to unify efforts and combine talents to provide farmers with tools they need to become successful in their farm business. The group will meet again Aug. 8th in Oakland to create a living calandar and share capacity.

BluDog Consulting also serves on the committee that organizes the Ecological Farming Conference annually held in January at the Asilomar Conference Center in Pacific Grove.

Avant Garden in San Jose, California- April 19, 2013

March 26, 2013 - Dina Izzo of BluDog Organic Produce asked to be a chef and also help attain produce from local Organic Farms for this years' menu at the second annual Avant Garden.

Event is produced by Veggielution, Cultivating leadership, community and social justice through sustainable agriculture.

BluDog Consulting News

April 28, 2014 - BluDog Consulting was invited to participate in a Healthy School Food  meeting produced by United Way and the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems University of California, Santa Cruz. Attended by school district food service managers and other food activists, we broke ground on strategies that can be implemented over the next five years.

April 13-15, 2014 - Through partnership with the United Way, BuDog Consulting was invited to participate in a training called "Leadership for Community Transformation" this training occurs over three months, dedicating three days of learning each month with a group of forty-five community leaders  taught by Dr. Monica Sharma of India.

April 3, 2014 - BluDog Consulting was requested to facilitate the Eco-Farm Planning Committee meeting to keep the 30 person meeting flowing smoothly and productively over the six hour duration while making critical decision that furthers the Eco-Farm Conference.

March 26-27, 2014 - BluDog Consulting traveled to southern California to continue working with refugees from five countries through partnership with California Center for Cooperative Development and their client International Rescue Committee.

March 19, 2014 - BluDog Consulting co-produced a workshop with partner California Farm Link. Attended by sixty farmers from the central coast of California, the presentation was designed to help farmers create their marketing strategy by examining both the farm's cycle and their own capacity. 

February 18, 2014 - BluDog Consulting assisted in the production of and participated in the first Farmers Association meeting held in Scott's Valley California. The meeting was attended by fifty-five farmers from all over the state to plan strategies for moving forward with an association that goes beyond what government agencies are able and willing to provide for family farmers.

Jan 22-25, 2014 - Ecological Farm Conference.
Attended by 1,800  sustainable agriculture industry members. BluDog Consulting participated as organizer as well as moderator for five workshops that well attended. BluDog Consulting was invited to be one of five professionals to offer "Office Hours" consulting with several  farmers and business professionals over three hours.
